Rene of Paris is finally Here – 3 New Short Styles.

We are so excited about the new styles we are stocking by Rene of Paris. I want to share some of the styles that we will be showcasing with you. Today we are showing 3 new Short Styles that we think you will love. They each have their own style and are available at www.wigsonline.com.au in many colours.

Coco

Coco is an elegant wig with a wispy texture which allows the wearer to create their own style. It features a traditional cap construction that is so comfortable and cool for the warm weather. You can achieve many styles with this wig by Rene of Paris. It is available in many colours including some dark rooted colours that give the wig a more realistic look.

Gia

Gia by Rene of Paris has the classic timeless look. There is some tapering towards the neck which accentuates the height on the top of the wig.The cap construction is the basic capless design that is very comfortable and cool for the wearer.

Sammy

Sammy is going to be one of our favorites. It just oozes with elegance. Sometimes less really is more. For the client who doesn’t want too much hair then Samy is fantastic. It is a very short style that tapers on the sides and back. It has a lovely light fringe that frames the face but isn’t too heavy.

What is Permatease?

Permatease is also known as Perma lift. It is a crimping effect done at the root of wigs to create more volume and height to your hairpiece. It can also be seen at the nape of the wig sometimes as well. If it is done properly it is barely noticeable and wont look ratty as it does in some cheap wigs. Most hand tied wigs will not have permatease.

It is a personal choice whether you like the permatease or not. Some clients like the look and feel that it contributes to the realistic look of the wig. While others are absolutely opposed to it.

What is a 3/4 Wig?

A 3/4 Wig is different to a full wig that it only covers 3/4 of your head and is used to integrate with your own hair. They are fixed just in the front of the crown of your head ( in behind your fringe with clips. They are the perfect solution to those experiencing some hair loss. A 3/4 wig will add volume and length to your hair very easily.

Here are some tips to placing a 3/4 wig on your head:

1. Pull back your hair from just behind your fringe and hold back with some pins.
2. Insert the comb of the front of the wig onto your head where you want to place the wig.
3. Secure the wig at the nape with the clips or combs ( depends on the wig what attachments it has)
4. Brush hair and integrate hair with wig.

If this is done probably you won’t be able to see where the wig finishes and ends. It will be a seamless finish. Not everyone is prepared to wear a wig and may not need a full wig so a 3/4 wig is a great idea.

Its always a great idea to search through utube and search “putting on a 3/4 wig” where you can watch how someone else does it. There are other ways of applying your wig and everyone has there own style of wearing wigs.

New Colour Trends

Dark Rooted colours are one of the trends that we are finding more common in wigs. Wig Brands like Jon Renau and Ellen Wille keep coming out with more styles that look fabulous.

12FS8 is one of these colours by Jon Renau. In different wigs they may look similar but they take their own style. This is one colour that we love in the short styles as well as the longer styles.

Colour 12FS8 is a Light Golden Brown and Light Natural Golden Blonde with Pale Natural Gold Blonde with Medium Brown Roots. The roots are very pronounced in these wigs and give you a realistic look as we all know that it doesn’t matter how often we colour our hair there is always some hair growth showing. The darker roots gives the wig a more three dimensional shape. The darkness with the blond is just a very elegant look no matter if its a short or long style.

Light Champagne Rooted is another of these dark rooted colours which is found in Ellen Wille Wigs. It is particularly lovely in the Code wig by Ellen Wille. The contrast with the very dark roots with a platinum blonde is absolutely gorgeous. The appearance is quite striking.

One of our newest colours from Ellen Wille is Pearl Blonde Rooted. This is a very unique colour to Ellen Wille and we all just love it especially in the Flip wig. The Flip would be the most elegant wig for the mature women and the Pearl Blonde is certainly a beautiful colour.

Nougat rooted is another rooted colour but not so obvious for those who don’t want such a dramatic hair colour. The darkness around the crown is complimented with lighter tips.

Hair Fashion Hair Trends for 2015

Just because you wear wigs doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable. As some of the trends mentioned by Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Vogue and many other Fashion Experts, we have matched up with some wigs and hair pieces that will keep you up with the current fashion trends. Here is a few examples:

Boho Beach Waves

The Boho Beach waves are gentle long waves just like our Picture Perfect and Katherine. They are so romantic and soft looking around your face that everyone is going to feel very feminine with any of these wigs.

Long Pony Tails

The long sleek ponytail is being showcased by many celebrities at many functions. It is so simple and elegant that anyone can wear them. They often say less is best and the sleek pony tail is definitely that. We have the Shelly in Human hair and the HP-ES is in synthetic hair. Both come in an array of colours and will look great at your next event.

Buns

Buns come in many shapes and sizes from hair wraps, scrunchies to formal buns. Buns are not so easy to do yourself but a clip in bun takes all the hassle out of styling your own hair. The Grace Bun and the Delightful Bubble can be placed over your own hair and are attached with clips. The Mimic is a scrunchie that is so easy to attach and looks fantastic. It’s a must to put in your suitcase when travelling and want something to throw your hair up to dinner. It’s definitely the no fuss hair style that everyone can achieve. These options are all synthetic hair that you do not need to style at all as it is all done for you.

Bombshell Hollywood Styles

The full blown Hollywood style is definitely that glamorous long hair that looks like you just walked off the stage. The long synthetic hair wigs section has this covered in many styles and colours. The Sugar Rush, Amber and Ava are just a few to mention that are some of our favourites.These examples are all synthetic but there are certainly some Human hair options if you are happy to spend a little more.
